What will you do as an Area Sales Manager?

  • Develop the business in Europe by seeking out new customers in the Feed Industry
  • Manage the entire sales process, from needs analysis to closing agreements
  • Influence prospects to start with CFS Vitafor
  • Conduct test projects to enhance and improve customers' products, gaining their trust and securing new business
  • Convince customers of CFS Vitafor's added value and build sustainable relationships
  • Develop appropriate proposals with internal sales representatives and production site specialists
  • Ensure selling at the right level within customer organizations, including both feed specialists and management
  • Proactively gather market information and translate it internally
  • Report directly to the CEO

What is CFS Vitafor looking for in an Area Sales Manager?

  • Minimum 6 to 9 years of sales experience in the feed mill industry
  • Proven track record of growing sales, maintaining clients, and being well-connected and respected across the industry
  • Ability to rapidly detect opportunities and business thanks to experience and market knowledge
  • Driven and persistent in bringing long sales processes to successful conclusions
  • Expert knowledge of feed mills within Europe
  • High-performing, self-starting professional who enjoys talking with others and thrives in an entrepreneurial setting
  • Overachiever looking for a long-term career move with performance-based rewards
  • Fluent in English; Dutch, German, or French are advantageous
